Wade played through any games, watched every movie and TV show, read every comic and book, and listened to any music referenced by Halliday in Anorak's Almanac. Wade also read the entirety of Anorak's Almanac, Halliday's journal, which consists of thousands of entries. Wade, like many people his age, knew the 1980's better than his generation, since Halliday had an obsession with that decade. All of this research was done in the hopes that the information will be helpful in his quest for the egg.
